Welcome to Juicyville

The Juicyvillians created new technology to make their lives easier, some of which were based on ancient Mesopotamian blueprints.  One of the most significant Juicyvillian inventions was the wheel.  It is used today in the same ways and more.  Although the objects it is used on have evolved, the wheel has always been a necessity for transportation.  Artists also used a pottery wheel to shape clay.  Farmers were able to plant crops more efficiently by using a plow.  In addition, one of the reasons the Juicyvillians built paved roads was so that wheels could move more smoothly.  Now, wheels are used in many recreational activities.  Bikes, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, etc. all have wheels.  These items can also be used as transportation devices.  The Juicyvillians realized that tools would be sturdier and last longer if they were made out of bronze.  This material is still greatly used today to make objects used in our every day lives.
