The arts of Juicyville were much like those of ancient Egypt.  They included various types of music, sculptures, paintings, literature, and decorative jewelry.  Music was enjoyed at the parties of many noble families.  Women danced as musicians played musical instruments.  They used harps, flutes, trumpets, cymbals, and other percussion instruments to entertain people.  However, musicians did not only play for recreation.  They played instruments in several burials.  Walls of tombs (of deceased Juicyville leaders) and occasionally temples often showed musicians accompanying ritual dancers.  Ancient Juicyvillians were polytheistic and believed in many different gods and goddesses.  Sculptures of these idols were made and worshipped in temples.  Some people also put statues of themselves in temples to show dedication to their religion.  Temples, as well as pyramids and homes, also had carved and painted walls.  Some of these decorative scenes depicted Kings interacting with gods or goddesses.  Paintings also decorated household objects such as pottery and furniture.  Juicyvillian literature was mostly based the people’s belief of an afterlife; however they did use other types of writing.  Ancient Juicyvillians wrote epic stories of heroes, pharaohs, and magicians.  They also wrote comic stories.  The wives of nobleman wore rare, expensive jewelry of glass, gold and semi-precious stones.  The wives of farmers, or other common people, could wear an amulet of a god or goddess on a piece of papyrus string.
